This module includes THREE LIVE sessions, each one scheduled for 60-90 minutes on selecting the appropriate instructional design models at the workplace, teaching in the clinical environment and assessing the competence of students, interns, and residents using rubrics. The sessions will explain the key principles of instructional design models and present tips on teaching and assessment in clinical contexts.

This PTA (Plan . Teach . Assess) series aims to offer educational alignment. Three LIVE sessions are offered with relevance to one domain in medical education.

The PTA series presents emerging trends and updates in a particular aspect to offer a better understanding and transfer of learning to practice. 

Dr. Mohamed Al-Eraky is an international consultant in medical education with MMEd from Dundee University (UK) and PhD from Maastricht University (The Netherlands). Dr. Al-Eraky is Associate Professors and Head of HPE Dept. at the Gulf Medical University (UAE) and a guest staff at the School of HPE (SHE), Maastricht University (Netherlands). He is known for his innovative approach to simplify complex ideas and engage learners throughout his sessions.
